John chose to use a Sid Chavers Bop Top.  These are real nice due to the fact the come apart and can be stored in the car when not needed.


Due to the fact we laid the 3" chopped windshield back a little more than usual, we have some misalignment that needs to be taken car of.  In this case, we modified the header bow by milling of some material (wood) to allow the bow to lay down more at the front for a much better look.  We also slightly bent the steel tubing and cut and rewelded the very upper portion (top 1") of the windshield post.
 
This shot shows how everything lines up real well. The header bow is on the same angle as the hood now for a much better look.
Complete.  The top is now ready to be stored until the car goes to the interior shop.
