Once
the hood is placed along with the shell, it’s time to start
cutting/fitting.

Pretty
typical hood fit. When the hood top is brought up to the height on
the cowl, the beltline is not even close. Like this on both sides.

we’ve added the strip needed. A lot of welding here....

Now on to fitting the hood
side. Once it is fit to the cowl, a strip is welded for a nicer,
finished look.

hood side is done. We’ve made a hood latch setup that allows
George to run without hood sides and no hood latch showing from the
side.
