FastLane Rod Shop Present Projects

Floyd Williams 1932 Ford Brookville Roadster  We've done a few Brookville bodies over the years, but this one will definitely be the quickest of them!  Floyd is a really nice guy who's been in the "thick of things" in the hot rod world for a long time.  He's been wanting to do a 32 Roadster for some time, and has a real good vision for what he wants.  Floyd will be using a Hilborne Injectioned ZZ4 backed by a 5 speed.  Suspension with be a transverse leaf front and rear with a 5" dropped axle and quick-change rear rolling on Halibrands.  Floyd's cars are black, so DuPont Black paint will cover everything - this should be one really nice, fun Hot Rod!

Phil Beckers 1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe -
Phil's been working on this project for some time.  We couldn't agree more with his vision for a really nice traditional styled rod, similiar to Alan Buttons '32.  He's already mounted the body on a Cornhusker chassis and the metal work done by Merle Burg is excellent.  We're going to do some subtle things to the front (hood and fenders), trick headlight bar, etc to make this dream a reality.  We'll eventually cover everything with a DuPont blue/green color similiar to what Ford offered in 1940.

FastLane Rod Shop '62 Chevy

FastLane Rod Shop '62 Chevy II  Since we just sold the '59 StratoCruiser, we were in need of a new project/grocery getter, so we purchased this pristine little Chevy II.   The car has been updated with a crate Vortec V-6/5 speed, an Art Morrison front end, 17" & 18" Boyds, Vintage Air, a killer stereo and air ride in the rear (all done by Troy Trepanier and his guys - so you know it's done right).  When we get some time, we'll do a few minor things and maybe some paint work.

FastLane Rod Shop '35 Chevy Sedan

35' Chevy Sedan - This all-steel ’35 Chevy 2 Door sedan is a long-term shop project.  It is sitting on deuce rails, which have been lengthened, pinched and kick-up (front and rear). The chassis features full torsion-bar suspension.  The top has been chopped in a way that  makes the windows more balanced and in proportion.  A big block Chevy will provide the power
